The Cub section is for 8 to 10.5 year olds and for many young people is the second stage of their journey through the Scouting movement.

The Scout Association states that your child will need a sweatshirt and trousers  as the basics.  Click here to shop for these items. From experience, we find that the most popular size for an average 8 year old, to allow a little growing room, is the 30" jumper. The trousers are the same throughout the different sections, so if you child has come through the Beaver section, you may not need to purchase another pair at this stage.

Your Group will normally provide the neckerchief and woggle when they are invested.

There are a great many other items that you can purchase if you wish including clothing, gifts and woggles. Many of these items will make great gifts for Birthdays or Christmas and can be viewed via the Items tab or by clicking here.
