The Air and Sea Scout section is for 10.5 to 18 year olds and for many young people is the third stage of their journey through the Scouting movement.  The Air and Sea Scouts follow a similar programme to the Scouts, however, there will likely be a greater emphasis on nautical or aeronautical themes.  They also wear a slightly different uniform.

The Scout Association states that your child will need a shirt and trousers as the basics. Click here to shop for these items. From experience, we find that the most popular size shirt for an average 10 year old, to allow some growing room, is the Small. We also find that most girls are ok with the boys shirts as they have a slightly longer arm length. The trousers are the same throughout the different sections, so if you child has come through from the Cub section, you may not need to purchase another pair at this stage.

Your Group will normally provide the neckerchief and woggle when they are invested (they may make a charge for this).
